Your Feedback Matters

Thank you for all the feedback you provided us during the Tell The Libraries survey! We wanted to share with you the results of that survey. It turns out that the UMKC Community has quite a bit in common; we’re all in this together, and the UMKC Libraries are here for you, no matter what challenges you are facing.

The challenges you defined formed seven categories; each response was assigned one or more of these:
•    COVID Anxiety & Concerns
•    Financial Issues
•    Interpersonal Connectivity
•    Life-Work-School Balance & Scheduling
•    Library Location & Hours
•    Library Resources
•    Working & Learning Remotely

While not all challenges pertain to the Libraries, here are the categories of suggestions for how

the Libraries can help:
•    Library hours
•    Library spaces
•    Group study
•    Learning opportunities (need help with using library resources, or opportunities to learn)
•    Need for writing support

UMKC Libraries will be continuing to reach out for feedback and engaging with the UMKC Community via surveys and open town halls again soon, so look for that, and keep up the good work with your feedback. The more we hear from you, the more we can help you address these challenges, together. Your voices are being heard, and your voices are valid!
