Miller Nichols Library and Health Sciences Library will be closed Saturday December 23 – Monday, January 1 for UMKC Winter Break, resuming regular intersession hours on January 2, 2024.
- Online resources including library databases, the library catalog, and electronic materials like journals, articles, and eBooks will remain available.
- The library’s research assistance chat service will be staffed 24/7 during this period.

- Books: Requests placed for items owned by Missouri libraries will be processed starting January 2.
- Interlibrary Loan: You can still place requests while the Libraries are closed. Expect delays in processing your requests.
- Special Collections & Archives: Marr Sound Archives, LaBudde Special Collections, and University Archives are open by appointment only now through December 21, closed December 22 – January 2, and open by appointment only January 2-16.
