Come experience the life and music of KC native, and pioneering composer and improviser, Charlie Parker, featured on the 1st floor of the UMKC Library, January 19th through the Spring semester.

Saxophone Supreme: The Life & Music of Charlie Parker” was co-curated by the American Jazz Museum and Chuck Haddix, Curator of the Marr Sound Archives at UMKC Libraries. This centennial exhibition features groundbreaking research, album covers, sheet music, and rare audio selections.
