Queer in the Archive

2024-2025 Archive Tour and Talk Series

Remembering our shared past to envision bright futures. The Gay and Lesbian Archive of Mid-America (GLAMA) at UMKC Libraries offers this tour and lecture series in partnership with UMKC LGBTQIA+ Programs and Services. Join GLAMA curator Stuart Hinds for a tour that shows how the materials collected for the GLAMA archive preserve the individual experiences of queer people in the Kansas City area, or attend a talk to hear how those archival materials reveal our city’s queer history.

Register to attend

Space is limited for each GLAMA tour. RSVP to save your spot! UMKC students should additionally register in RooGroups for First Semester Experience credit.
