No matter what your needs, the UMKC Libraries are here to help! To get familiar with the Libraries and all of the resources offered, check out one of our video tours. Currently, we have three videos available that take you through the Marr Sound Archives, LaBudde Special Collections, and one that provides a good overview of how the library can help in academic pursuits which we created with international students in mind. More videos are in the works, so stay tuned for more of an inside look at the UMKC Libraries! 

UMKC Libraries Tour for International Students 

Welcome to the UMKC Libraries! This video tour shows some of our favorite spaces and student services at the Libraries. You'll see places you can study and technology you can use at the library, and you'll learn how the library workers can help you. We hope you visit soon!

LaBudde Special Collections Tour 

Join Stuart Hinds, Curator of the LaBudde Special Collections for this video tour. The 20-minute tour covers aspects of how the archival collections are inventoried into finding aids, interesting items in the collections, including materials from the Gay and Lesbian Archives of Mid-America, how materials are stored in and retrieved from the Robot, and many other helpful tidbits related to using LaBudde Special Collections materials.

Marr Sound Archives Tour 

Join Chuck Haddix, the Curator of the Marr Sound Archives on this video tour and audio adventure.This video covers the wide variety of genres and formats in the collections, the preservation mission of the Archives, how the collections are organized, and the use of the Robot to store collection materials.
