There is Help: Resources for Mental Health

Now through January 31, 2022

Miller Nichols Library, 1st Floor | Health Sciences Library

This past April UMKC Libraries Health Equity Fellow, Casey Phillips, with UMKC medical students Christy Nwankwo and Casey Rose, created and distributed a survey to all active students at the university to find out if and how UMKC students know of and access mental health resources. With over 900 responses, these are the results: Mental Health Disparity Research at UMKC

These results can also be found on posters through November and December at the mental health book and resource displays at Miller Nichols Library and the Health Science Library. The displays also have books available to borrow, information pages, coloring books, and free tumblers. Online resources can be found at this Mental Health Resource Guide and in the book carousel below.
