Our new library catalog, which we share with the UM System Libraries, launched on June 22, 2022. The new catalog is integrated with the search box on the homepage of the UMKC library website.

We are delighted to announce that the UMKC Libraries' LaBudde Special Collections department received the Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Community Engagement at the Faculty Awards Celebration on May 18.
Photographs in the Helen Xarhis-DePasco Collection are now available in the UMKC Digital Special Collections. The 24 digitized photographs are related to the World War II-era home front experiences of a Kansas City-born woman and her family during the war.
Congratulations to Hunter Miesner, winner of the 2022 Friends of the Library Scholarship. Miesner is currently at the end of his first year of undergraduate studies in the Business Administration track here at UMKC.
