GLAMA 10th Anniversary Exhibit Opening

October 10, 2019 | 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Miller Nichols Library, 3rd Floor | LaBudde Special Collections Gallery

For nearly 10 years the Gay and Lesbian Archive of Mid-America (GLAMA) has been collecting, preserving, and making accessible the materials that reflect the histories of the LGBT communities in the Kansas City region.

We’re celebrating GLAMA’s 10th anniversary with "GLAMA at 10: A Decade of Discovery," a new exhibit featuring highlights from a decade of preservation and research of the LGBT heritage of Kansas City.

Join us at the exhibit opening for a first look at the exhibit and testimonies from both donors and researchers on how the archive has influenced them and their work.

This event is free and open to the public. The reception will begin at 5:00pm with remarks at 6:00pm. Please rsvp via the link below.

GLAMA is located in the LaBudde Special Collections Department at Miller Nichols Library. Visit them on the 3rd floor, or contact GLAMA Curator Stuart Hinds to discover how you can explore the collections or enhance the archive with a collection of your own!
