Join the Center for Recorded Music (C4RM) and the Marr Sound Archives for The Marr Sessions, a listening series highlighting a different recording from the sound archives each month.
Selected from the hundreds of thousands of historic records in the archives, a full album is played at each one-hour session, highlighting rare, high-quality, hard-to-find music from a variety of genres and eras. Marr Sound Archives staff are on hand to share introductory remarks and background information, as well as answer questions.
Doors open at 6:30pm. Sessions are held at Center for Recorded Music’s The Listyning Room and seating is limited; get tickets in advance.
