Anthony LaBat Awarded 2023 Spectrum Scholarship

Anthony LaBat, Operations and Processing Associate with the LaBudde Special Collections, was awarded one of 70 of the annual Spectrum Scholarships provided by the American Library Association’s (ALA) Office for Diversity, Literacy, and Outreach Services. This particular scholarship is awarded to students pursuing graduate degrees in library and information sciences. 2023’s Spectrum Scholars were selected based on their commitment to community building, leadership potential, and planned contributions to making social justice part of everyone’s everyday work within LIS. Congratulations to Anthony on his hard work and award-winning achievements!
