Coinciding with the exhibit currently on display in the library’s Special Collections Gallery, “The Kansas City That Never Was” is now available as a digital exhibit. Scroll through to see alternate versions of the Liberty Memorial, phantom buildings that might have been erected in areas we now know as parks, numerous intricate plans for interconnecting downtown’s districts, and two unrealized stadiums.
