Meet our newest staff members!

Melissa Allison

Melissa joins the Libraries staff in the Music/Media Library as the Evening and Weekend Supervisor. Melissa has a bachelors in English from Washburn and an MLS from Emporia State University. While they were getting their Masters in Library Science from ESU, they worked as a shelver at Topeka Shawnee County Public Library. We’re excited to have you as a part of our team, Melissa!

Courtney Gard

Courtney is the new Circulation Evening and Weekend Library Information Specialist, Sr. Courtney got their start in libraries as a library/archives intern while obtaining their Bachelor’s in History and Public History from Northwest Missouri State University. Courtney worked for Mid-Continent Public Library after graduation and then returned to Northwest after accepting a position as a Circulation Specialist at B.D. Owens Library. During that time, Courtney also earned a Masters in Business Administration. Welcome aboard Courtney!
