Equity Initiatives

The University Libraries are fully committed to creating and maintaining an anti-racist and anti-oppressive environment for a diverse academic community of faculty, staff and students. Recent initiatives are outlined here, and include library focused efforts to implement and maintain anti-racist and anti-oppressive practices in our services. A Call to Action

A call for collective action for UMKC Libraries' workers and users, in response to concerns raised during the uprisings of summer 2020 and immediately following a Call to Action for Libraries' workers from the Equity Committee. (issued June 2020)
