New Hosting for Faculty Research Projects

Create UMKC, with a "Get Started" button followed by an arrow pointing forward

The UMKC Libraries Digital Scholarship Services department is happy to announce Create UMKC, a three year pilot program to host UMKC faculty research projects. This service provides faculty with access to flexible web space, 1GB of storage, and customizable, open source hosting platforms including Omeka, Scalar, and WordPress. This pilot program is supported by a Funding For Excellence grant from the UMKC Office of Research and Innovation

Create UMKC is available for faculty to create proof-of-concept sites for pending grant applications, digital exhibits, book supplements, and interactive digital scholarship projects. To request access, faculty should complete the interest form on the Create UMKC website.

UMKC Libraries’ Digital Scholarship Services department provides programming, resource guides, and consulting services that support digital research and pedagogy for the UMKC scholarly community.
