Celebrating AAPI Heritage Month

Book display May through June, 2021

May is Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month. The UMKC Libraries want to celebrate this and raise Asian voices and perspectives through our May book display. Discrimination and violence against the AAPI community are not new in American culture or society; what is depicted on the news is not unique to the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s time to learn more, grow, and make changes for racial equity for everyone. Learn more about the AAPI community, perspectives, and use our resources to help #StopAsianHate.
