Join Scott Curtis, book discussion leader, as we explore the book Never Caught: The Washingtons’ Relentless Pursuit of their Runaway Slave, Ona Judge by Erica Armstrong Dunbar.

Book discussion is free and open to the public. RSVP requested.

Erica Dunbar seated at couchErica Armstrong Dunbar is the Blue and Gold Distinguished Professor of Black Studies and History at the University of Delaware. She has been a recipient of Ford, Mellon and Social Science Research Council fellowships and is an Organization of American Historians Distinguished Lecturer.

Dunbar will be on the UMKC campus Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 6 p.m. in the Pierson Auditorium for an accompanying lecture & book signing. Lecture is free and open to the public. Please note: the book discussion and lecture are different events. You must register for each separately.
