War Bond poster. "Keep These Hands Off!" Poster features a large photographic image of mother and baby in shade of pink and cream on light blue background. Upper right corner shows a sinister-looking hand with rising sun emblem. Both hands are reaching toward mother and baby. Navy blue lettering at upper left reads: "Keep These Hands Off!" Large white lettering on blue strip at bottom of poster reads: "Buy the new Victory Bonds."

History: This poster was part of a large collection assembled during World War II by Doris Garrett Shanklin of Winchester, Massachusetts. The Shanklin home was used as a Red Cross bandage-wrapping station and many of the posters were displayed in the home for the enjoyment of the volunteers.
