On May 10, 1942 the University of Chicago Round Table broadcast Aliens In Our Midst over the Red Network of the National Broadcasting Company. This "radio discussion" broadcast from the University of Chicago raised questions such as "What are we doing about "enemy aliens"? How many are there? Are they a threat to our unity, our safety, our war effort?" Three "expert observers" participated in the Round Table discussion to help answer these and other questions.
