The bound, sequentially numbered volumes of all the reports, documents, and journals of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives beginning with the 15th Congress, available in digitized format. As of December 2004, materials through the 35th Congress have been digitized. When completed, coverage will conclude with the 96th Congress, bringing coverage to 1980.

The U.S. Congressional Serial Set includes all publications of both houses of Congress. In addition, many key Executive branch documents were included in the pre-Civil War volumes.
