Construction Updates

• May 2010: Continue delivery and installation of bins and shelving units.  Continue masonry work and interior finishes. Staff training on loading the robot. "Meet the Robot" event on May 12.
• April 2010: Delivery and installation of bins and shelving units.  Library road closed April 15-May 21. Continue masonry work and interior finishes.
• March 2010: Installation of robot system.  Dismantle Public Services offices and group study room to create staging area for loading the robot. Removal of the construction trailer from the site.
• February 2010: Continue delivery of robot system and begin the installation.  Continue masonry work and interior finishes.
• January 2010:  Continue construction of interior doorways, delivery of robot system equipment, begin installation of robot, continue masonry work
• December 2009:  Demolition and construction of doorways between new addition and library, green roof
• October-November 2009:  Roof construction, connection of utilities and sewers, begin masonry
• August-September 2009:  Structural Steel erection, architectural review and approval of decorative screen mock-up
• June-July 2009: Foundation walls
• March-May 2009: Excavation, drilling and concrete pouring
• February, 2009: Demolition and excavation
• January, 2009: Building of new interior South walls and demolition
• December 22, 2008: Construction begins

• December 2008: 1st & 2nd floors preparations
• Summer 2008: Music / Media Library, Microforms (Ground Floor), and 1st Floor
