Cash, check or credit card gifts

UMKC accepts cash gifts made in the form of currency, money order and bank drafts.

Please be sure to include information with your check about where you are designating your gift. 
All checks are deposited promptly.

Corporate gifts

The UMKC Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations’ goal is to build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with your organization. Corporate and Foundation Relations serves as your organization’s one-stop resource for talented students, knowledgeable faculty and staff, state of the art facilities, and opportunities for philanthropic support. We will make sure your investment of contribution dollars to Kansas City’s University delivers the strongest bottom-line impact to your organization.

Through developing and maintaining comprehensive partnerships with corporations and foundations, we accomplish our mission of raising funds for academic programs. Our office will work directly with your representatives to ensure the philanthropy you provide to UMKC is integrated into your overall corporate or foundation strategies.

Honorary and memorial gifts

A gift in memory or in honor of a teacher, student, relative or friend is a generous and thoughtful way to recognize a person’s life and support UMKC.

Payroll deduction (for University employees)

Payroll deduction is an easy way to give that enables the payment of your gift to be spread over time. To take advantage of this option, please complete the Authorization For Payroll Deduction Form.

Matching gifts

You can double the impact of your gift by taking advantage of your employer’s matching gift program. Below is a list of our current matching gift company partners. Your employer’s human resources office can provide the form to submit with your gift.
