The UMKC Courtesy Card Program provides direct on-site borrowing privileges for students, faculty and staff at participating academic/research libraries in the Kansas City area. If you are a patron wishing to inquire about borrowing privileges at other participating institutions, please contact the Access Services or Circulation librarian at your library.
UMKC students, faculty, and staff have access to the materials of numerous academic libraries in Missouri through MOBIUS (Missouri Bibliographic Information User System). Materials may be checked out at member libraries in person or can be requested through the MOBIUS Union Catalog. Additionally, membership in our Courtesy Card Program allows UMKC students, faculty, and staff limited check out privileges at participating area colleges and universities.
The Courtesy Card also allows patrons to use the University of Kansas Libraries on the Lawrence and Edwards Campuses, and the Linda Hall Library of Science, Engineering and Technology.
Please call the MNL Access Services Department at (816) 235-1526 for more information on the program.
