Check out items at the Music/Media Desk, which is located on the ground floor.
Sound recordings, videos, and other audiovisual items: All A/V items
may circulate to UMKC students, faculty and staff for two weeks. UMKC students
may check out a maximum of 10 A/V items at any one time with no renewals;
UMKC faculty and staff may check out a maximum of 25 A/V items at any one
time with one renewal. Items are counted as follows: a 3 disc CD set counts
as three items. (These items have the location "UMK MNL Music A/V"
or "UMK MNL Media A/V" in the MERLIN Library Catalog.)
Renewing Music A/V items: You can renew a Music A/V item one time if the Library has received no other requests for it. Reserve items and Music A/V items cannot be renewed. You can renew materials in person, by phone, or online. To renew an item online:
Renewing Media A/V items: Media items are not renewable.
Returning items: Please return materials to the Music/Media desk.
Overdue Items:
Your Library Record: Your library record includes information on all materials you have checked out, when they are due, etc. You can view your library record online.
Marr Sound Archives: Items in the Marr Sound Archives are special collections items and do not circulate. In-house listening facilities are available. For more information, contact the Marr Sound Archives at (816) 235-2798.
If you are not a UMKC student, faculty member or staff member, you can view or listen to audiovisual materials in the Listening/Viewing Center by presenting a valid photo id.
