TIP: Searches can be limited in the catalog's advanced search option. For example when searching for musical recording the search can be limited by selecting sound record. For spoken word recordings select spoken record. Uncataloged recordings including many unique recordings and audio collections, are accessible through reference books, discographies, as well as department-created finding aids and databases.
