Contacts & Hours

Access/Reference Services | Archives’ staff provide public service and respond to email reference questions from 9:00 am – 4:30 pm Monday – Friday. Appointments are not required during regular department hours, but are strongly recommended for large research projects and in-depth reference assistance. Patrons are not allowed to check out or make copies of recordings. On-site listening stations are available for use by patrons.

Staff members are available to help patrons locate items in the collection using the library's catalog (MERLIN) and other finding aids. Recordings in the collection should be requested by the record label and issue number in the Call # in MERLIN. Archival collections are available through finding aids. To schedule a tour or instructional class, contact Chuck Haddix or Kelley Martin.

Duplication Services | The collection is non-circulating, so the archives provides duplication services for patrons. The archives does not duplicate recordings that are in-print or otherwise available. Audio duplication services are restricted to preservation or research purposes within the provisions of the United States Copyright Law and/or other restrictions that may apply to specific collections.
