Remote (off-campus) access to databases is available only to UMKC students,
faculty, and staff. All other users must access online resources within the
Libraries. Begin searching by selecting a database. After selection you will
be prompted to provide a UMKC Single Sign-On user name and
password OR a 9-digit UMKC ID number followed by the letter k (example: 0123456789k) and last name, as needed.
Serials Solutions
Serials Solutions is a tool to locate full-text journals, magazines and newspapers in UMKC licensed databases. Since not all electronic journals are cataloged in MERLIN, you need to check Serials Solutions as well to make sure you are not missing the journal.

topics. Indexing and abstracts are available for articles from more than 1,500
leading business and management publications, including over 350 English-language
titles from outside the US Full-text or page image is available for articles
from more than 800 of the most popular and important publications. Indexing
starts in 1971. Full-text/image titles start in 1985. Also includes full-text coverage for the Wall Street Journal back to 1984.

companies on the NYSE, AMEX and NASDAQ exchanges. Records include business
profiles, company histories, property, subsidiaries, officers and directors,

splits, dividend payment history and historical daily pricing and charting

Provides data by Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code on total
number of businesses in the state, the size of payrolls and the number of
employees with in industries. Other tables provide similar information for
each county by SIC code. Such data is useful for analyzing the economic activity
