The academic study of education is one of the
broadest single fields of scholarly concern because it can be approached from
any number of disciplinary perspectives, including psychology, sociology, history,
and organizational management. The resources listed in this guide will help
you to locate a variety of materials relevant to the study of education, but
also remember to consult materials relevant to your disciplinary perspective.
These additional guides will assist you in finding books and articles in the
specific areas listed. These guides are more narrowly defined in terms of focus.
