Contains demographic data on each of the state, county and local public health agencies as well as resources for other types of information. Has a wide variety of available statistics and data. Also contains news releases, legislative issues and birth/death record information.

This site provides searching for health information by topics alphabetized by letter or by category. It is written for the patient. There is also access to MEDLINE, the National Library of Medicine's database of references to more than 12 million articles published in 4300 biomedical journals for more extensive searching.

A Website maintained by the Public Library, the School of Public Health and the HealthWeb project at the University of Michigan. The site contains a variety of links to pertinent sites but most valuable is a list of links to on-line journals many with full text available.

The BEA is an agency of the U.S. Department of Commerce and this site allows access to statistical data relevant to community economic status and useful in community needs assessment and analysis.

This is a good site for anyone who is considering developing their own Webpage and contains tutorials on page design, graphics, HTML, scripts, multi-media, and Web hosting.
This site by the University of Virginia offers the ability to construct a web-based survey on any topic and retrieve the tallied results. There is a fee for the service.
