Last time, I shared with you some information on the educational and reference services available at the Health Sciences Library. This time, I want to share with you a special services just for faculty, the faculty photocopying service.
For $2.00 per article, and $.15 per page, the staff at the Health Sciences Library will make copies of journal articles owned in the library. You must pull the journal and fill out and sign the green slip used in the library for this function or use Loansome Doc to request the articles. Call Jonice at 1878 for more information on Loansome Doc. Most times, the copying will be done within 24-hours.
New this year is the "Pull and Copy" service. If you have done a search in an online database and have a list of citations, you can bring that list to the Circulation staff at the Health Sciences Library. The staff will pull and copy any article on that list that is owned at the Health Sciences Library. In addition, the staff will fill out the forms to request articles not owned to be delivered via Interlibrary Loan. The charge for this service is $30 per hour (two hour minimum). For items owned, the regular photocopying charges will be assessed on top of the other charges.
