What Does UMKC Campus & UMKC VPN Access Mean?

It means the journal or database is available through all UMKC campus computers (including Hospital Hill UMKC computers) AND available from your home or office two ways. You can access most library resources from any computer with an Internet connection by using your Single Sign-on account. However, by downloading the VPN (virtual personal network) software, you are able to access all the UMKC resources without repeated prompts for single sign-on. Once you download the software, available from UMKC Information Services at http://umkc.edu/vpn, then you just need to start the client and you should have seamless access to library databases.
