The First Floor Information Commons provides a variety of individual and collaborative study spaces with wireless Internet access for UMKC students, faculty and staff.
Most study and collaboration spaces are available on a first come/first serve basis.
Movable study tables of various sizes some with retractable power cords hanging from the ceiling with moveable ‘weasle’ white board easles.
4 large study rooms with wall-mounted monitors for connecting a laptop (priority use for those needing to use the monitors) with wall-mounted white boards. Two rooms are first come, first serve. Room 106F may be reserved by UMKC students 1 week in advance.
The fourth room is located in the 2nd floor student computer lab.

5 large study booths with retractable power cords hanging from the ceiling and table tops that can be used as white boards
6 group study cubicles with built-in white boards
White board markers and erasers are available in each area and extra markers may be found at the First Floor Service Desk
