This online index provides citations and abstracts for articles and other publications related to older adults (age 50 +) and aging. Resources are taken from the AARP's Research Information Center as well as selected articles from over 600 magazines and journals. Books and videorecordings are also included.

Materials cover a broad range of subjects related to older adults and aging. These include:

• Research in social gerontology, including health sciences, demography, psychology, sociology, social work, economics.
• Consumer information for adults age 50-plus on such topics as health and health care, employment, housing, fitness, financial planning, caregiving, retirement, Social Security, family relationships, and self-help.

The National Agriculture Library’s AGRICOLA (AGRICultural OnLine Access) contains citations to a wide variety of publications in agriculture and allied disciplines, including animal and veterinary sciences, entomology, plant sciences, forestry, aquaculture and fisheries, farming and farming systems, agricultural economics, extension and education, food and human nutrition, and earth and environmental sciences.

AGRICOLA is really two databases in one. You can search each one separately, or both at the same time.

The NAL Online Public Access Catalog is the online catalog of the National Agriculture Library. Look here for citations to books, periodical titles, audiovisual materials, etc. Coverage begins in the 15th century and goes to the present. AGRICOLA also contains some bibliographic records for items cataloged by other libraries but not held in NAL's collection.

The Article Citation Database is the second part of AGRICOLA. Look here for citations to journal articles, book chapters, reports, reprints, and links to indexed Websites. Many citations include abstracts.

The goal of the American Film Institue project is to include every film produced in the United States or sponsored and financed by an American company. It provides comprehensive, full-text information on over 45,000 films, including more than 17,500 made in the early years of film from 1893 to 1910. Includes approximately one million personal name entries, more than 500,000 actor entries and 27,000 director entries. Films from 1911-1970 are included in the catalog if they are at least 40 minutes/4 reels long. For the period 1893-1910, the earliest period of film production, shorter films have also been included.

American Film Scripts Online contains 1,009 scripts by 1,062 writers.  Detailed information about scenes, characters and people related to the scripts are included.  Possible to search by Script Title; Type; Genre; Writer's Gender, Nationality or Race; Producers; Actors in Script; or Director.
