Building a Culture of Peace for the Children of the World.
A Culture of Peace is a set of values, attitudes, modes of behavior and ways of living that reject violence and prevent conflicts. This exhibit brings together the ideas and examples of hundreds of people, organizations and movements dedicated to opening a path to lasting peace. It shows that it is possible to construct a culture of peace and reminds us that everything required to do so already exists in each of our hearts.
"Since wars begin in the minds of men, it is in the minds of men that the defenses of peace must be constructed." (From the Preamble of the UNESCO Constitution)
