The UMKC University Libraries subscribe to many full-text resources online in order to make the research process smooth and seamless for you, whether you are working in the libraries or from a computer off-campus.
To find articles online, you can begin with indexes, such as those found on the libraries' list of databases. Depending on your research topic, you may choose to look at the entire list of databases (alphabetical) or visit Databases: Subject Listing. Either option will lead you to collections of information you can search to find what you need. Select databases with an F next to them for better luck in finding full-text online.
As some journals, magazines, and newspapers are available in more than one database, if the article you want is not available in full-text in one database, see the directions below for tracking down full-text online to find out if your journal is available full-text elsewhere.
If the UMKC University Libraries do not offer the full-text of the article you need online, you can search the MERLIN library catalog to discover if the library provides access to the journal, magazine, or newspaper in print format.
