To find articles, you can begin with an index, such as those found on the libraries' list of databases. Depending on your research topic, you may choose to look at the entire list of databases (alphabetical) or visit Databases: Subject Listing. Either option will lead you to collections of information you can search to find what you need.
As some journals, magazines, and newspapers are available in more than one database, if the article you want is not available in full-text in one database, see the directions for tracking down full-text online to find out if your journal is available full-text elsewhere.
The UMKC Libraries' also provide access to print indexes that can be used to find articles and other information. Many of these print indexes include earlier dates of coverage than their online counterparts. Print indexes available in the Miller Nichols Library include:
